How do I book an appointment?
You can make an appointment through the website’s online booking system, by phone @ 204-541-0710, or by email at gbscounselling@gmail.com.
What are the session fees?
Sessions are 50 minutes at a rate of $125.00, including GST. Payment is required at the end of each session and can be paid by cash, debit, e-transfer, and credit. Receipts will be issued via email.
The client is responsible for submitting their own receipts to their insurance provider.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please provide 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. *Please note, if you cancel your session with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for a full session fee.
Are there forms to fill out prior to my session?
Prior to your first session, there will be an Intake Form and an Informed Consent Form to fill out. Once your first session has been booked, both of these forms will be emailed to you. Kindly fill out the Intake Form and email it directly to gbscounselling@gmail.com. If you have any questions regarding the Informed Consent, feel free to wait until your appointment and together we can go over any questions or concerns you may have. Otherwise, please read and sign it prior to your first session. It can be submitted by email or you can print it and bring it to your session.
Are Virtual Counselling Sessions available?
Virtual counselling sessions are offered through the DOXY online platform and are PHIPA/PIPEDA compliant.
Payment can be made for these sessions through e-transfer @ gbscounselling@gmail.com. *Please note, payment for virtual sessions are expected to be made on the same day as your session.
What are the office hours?
Regular appointments are available:
Tuesdays 10-4 pm, Wednesdays 3-8 pm, & Thursdays 10-4 pm.
Where are you located?
I am located at 200 - 443 Academy Rd on the second floor (Action Physiotherapy building).
